Summarize button missing
YouTube DOM changes can delay button install. Refresh the watch page or wait a few seconds after navigation. Ensure the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions.
Sign-in required on Free
Free tier uses sign-in so quota syncs across devices. Complete auth via the extension panel if prompted.
Captions and fallback
No captions means audio fallback—slower and subject to limits. See when fallback runs.
Daily quota
Free includes three distinct videos per UTC day. Re-summarizing the same video the same day does not consume another slot.
